TABAK DIVISION DON RANKS TO RESERVISTS, MEDICAL FRONTLINE OFFICERS

CAMP SANG-AN, Zamboanga del Sur | The 1st Infantry (TABAK) Division donned ranks to the newly commissioned reservists and newly promoted medical officers during the flag raising ceremony held at the grandstand today.

Commissioned to Lieutenant Colonels were Mister Simlo A Lomarda and Miss Dinah Q Ortezuela; for Majors were Mister Joel S Siotong, Mister Ricky P Alagase, Mister Junard E Sagape; for Captain was Councilor Sam Tyra F Co; and for 1st Lieutenants were Mister Ronnel T Montebon and Mister Jeffrey T Tagapulot.

Meanwhile, two medical frontliners were also promoted and donned with ranks. For Lieutenant Colonel was Major Lorelyn C Cabute, Chief Nurse and for Captain was Naciba M Guro, Medical Corps. Both were assigned at the station hospital of 1ID.

Maj. Gen. Gene Ponio, the Commander 1ID, during his speech, welcomed the newly commissioned reservists and congratulated the officers for their well-deserved promotions.

“We the Army, will continuously evolved into a professional organization, it will tapped the vast resources afforded to us by our citizenry. We should instill patriotism/love of country in our young professionals and encouraged them through the spirit of volunteerism to serve our country and our people as reserve officers”, added Maj. Gen. Ponio.
